Kiro access
Kiroween participants can request 4,000 free Kiro credits to use during the Submission Period. Note that you must have a Kiro account in order to request and qualify for credits. Create your account here.

- We review requests and send credits within 48 business hours.
- Request by Tuesday, December 1, 2026 at 12:00 PM PT.
- You need a Kiro account and your Kiro user ID. Here is how to find it.
- Using an AWS account? Here is how to find your AWS account ID.
- Redeem your credits by Friday, December 4, 2026.
- Redeemed credits expire on December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.

How do I redeem my Kiro credit code?

- Log in to your Kiro account. Then open the Kiro credit code URL to redeem your credits.
- Look for a green message that says “Kiroupon successfully redeemed!”
- Do you see an error instead? The redemption often worked anyway. Log out, wait a few minutes, and log back in. Then check your usage dashboard (step 4) before you contact the hackathon manager.
- Within 1-2 minutes, the credits appear on your usage dashboard. Sign in at https://app.kiro.dev/signin to check. Look for a prefix that includes kiroween.
- Redeem your code by Friday, December 4, 2026. We will not replace expired codes.
- Redeemed credits stay on your account until you use them or until they expire on December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.

Social Blitz Prize requirements
- Post on any social platform. Share your favorite thing about Kiro and how it changed the way you approached development.
- Use the hashtag #KiroweenHackathon26 at the beginning of your post.
- Post during the Submission Period.
- Add the link to your post on your submission form.
Bonus Blog Post requirements
- Publish a public blog post about Kiro and your project on any third-party blog platform. Mention it is part of the Kiroween 2026 hackathon in the blog.
- Publish it during the Submission Period.
- Add the link to your published blog post on your submission form.
